The second-hand marketplace Users Share Displeasure About Sizing Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration after an update resulted in listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The popular resale platform has updated its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel failing to inform all shoppers about the modification.

Numerous buyers and vendors have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present a different size category versus the original listing because of the remapping.
The platform stated the new system was more in line with comparable marketplaces.
It has advised users to review their products and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Before the change, the sizes had both one number and one letter, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Stories
A fashion influencer, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Another user, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as size 20–22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Manual Updates
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, said she had been left angered by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, since I have chronic health issues and platform income has been essential for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million members, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification on the platform has faced criticism: last year, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
